Sorry for the late reply, but if you want a serious tumbler, let me recommend Thumler's Tumbler Model B, the 15# capacity one. I use it for rocks, coins that will re enter circulation, cleaning brass for handloading, small ball mill for turning clumps into powder, and about anything else I am too lazy to do.

I like your ball mill. I bought a rock tumbler from Harbor freight. It only has a 3 pound capacity. I also bought a bunch of 1/2 inch balls from a company on eBay. I have used it to grind sand into a fine powder to use as a flux and it seems to work fine. SLOW, but if you leave it run long enough, it does the job.

I purchased a rock tumbler from Harbor Freight. It is a nice little unit. 60 RPM, rubber chamber with a nice water and dust proof seal. Inner dimensions are about 4" dia and about 4 1/2" deep. It milled my home made poplar C nicely in about 4 hours and it did a good job on S in the same time using glass marbles.

If you can get a ball mill/ rock tumbler from harbor freight it works great at pulverizing herbs into a powder. Some material like pala santo just ends up caking up the tumbling medium but I find most dried herbs do great. Just be advised at the tumbling process may take several days but the grinding process can't be beat.
